.Berlin Muslims to take to streets to deplore Iraq terror
German Muslims are to rally in downtown Berlin on Saturday in a bid to deplore the latest bombing attacks of two holy Shiite shrines in Samarra, Iraq.
According to a press statement, released by a group of Berlin-based Muslim communities, the rally's main aim is to promote unity, brotherhood and vigilance among Muslims in light of foreign plots to sow the seeds of discord between Iraqi Shiites and Sunnis.
The Muslim protestors are also to "condemn in the strongest possible terms the desecration of holy Muslim and Christian sites".
The group pointed out that a "third party" was trying to create a rift between Iraqi Shiites and Sunnis in an attempt to start a civil war in the country.
